Mr Matthew Dodd is an NHS consultant who also works at Sancta Maria Hospital in Swansea. His main field is orthopaedics. Mr Matthew Dodd studied at Imperial College School of Medicine before completing his post-graduate training in West London’s basic and higher surgical training programmes. Mr Dodd is a member of the faculty of sports and exercise medicine and completed the diploma in 2005, winning the Donald McCleod medal for first in year. In 2011/2012 his fellowships were at the University of Toronto, Canada, exclusively specialising in lower limb arthroplasty and soft tissue knee surgery, training under some of their leading surgeons. On completion of this training he returned to Imperial College NHS Trust, one of only four Level 1 trauma centres in London, for a six month trauma fellowship to round off his training in all areas of specialist interest.

Mr Mark Mullins is an NHS consultant who also works at Sancta Maria Hospital and as part of the St. David’s House consultant group based in Sancta Maria Hospital in Swansea. His main field is orthopaedics. Mr Mullins undertook his general medical and surgical training at Cambridge University and St. Mary’s Hospital London. He then became a specialist orthopaedic trainee on the London circuit including positions at The Royal London Hospital, St. Bartholomew’s Hospital and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. Having completed the higher intercollegiate examination in Orthopaedics and trauma at the first attempt, he spent a year’s specialist fellowship in lower limb surgery with the world renowned Professor Judet in Paris. He returned to his native Swansea as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in 2006.

Mr Mark Davies is an NHS consultant general surgeon and coloproctologist who also works as part of the St. David’s House consultant group based in Sancta Maria Hospital in Swansea. His main field is general surgery. Mr Mark Davies qualified from The London Hospital Medical College in 1995. He was awarded a Master of Surgery by the University of London, for a thesis into the development and progression of colorectal cancer. He completed his training in general and colorectal surgery in London, Cardiff and Swansea and undertook a prestigious fellowship in complex pelvic surgery at The Christie Hospital in Manchester. Since his appointment as an NHS consultant in Swansea in 2007, he has specialised in the management of a wide range of malignant and benign colorectal conditions, but specifically diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy, minimally invasive surgery, faecal incontinence and inflammatory bowel disease.

Mr Martyn Evans is an NHS consultant colorectal surgeon who also works as part of the St. David’s House consultant group based in Sancta Maria Hospital in Swansea. His fields of expertise are general surgery and colorectal surgery. Mr Martyn Evans has specialist interests in all aspects of colorectal surgery including diagnosis and management of colorectal cancer, laparoscopic colorectal surgery, surgery for advanced pelvic malignancy, inflammatory bowel disease, endoscopy and haemorrhoids. His NHS practice includes referral of patients from all over South Wales with advanced pelvic cancer, His general surgical expertise includes hernia repair and laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Mr Martyn Evans is a consultant surgeon at Singleton and Morriston Hospitals, Swansea. Mr Evans trained at Southampton Medical School and completed higher surgical training in general and colorectal surgery on the All Wales Higher Surgical Training Scheme.
